A Peek Inside a Mysterious World

Homecoming, Amazon Prime Video’s psychological thriller starring Julia Roberts, is about a social worker who works at Homecoming - a facility helping soldiers transition to the civilian world. Years later, she starts a new life, when the Department of Defense questions why she left. She begins to realize there's a whole other story behind the one she's been telling herself.

To hint at the show’s ominous vibe, we created a series of world-building content on Snapchat. Inspired by the popular ‘chat story’ format on the platform, we crafted a Story Ad featuring a conversation between Heidi (Julia Roberts), and her asshole boss.

Tapping the Phones

We cut audio clips from the show and edited them to feel like fans were listening in on secret Homecoming facility phone conversations.

World-Building AR

We brought moody visuals from the show - a dead goldfish and an omnipresent pelican - to life with a series of AR Lenses.

Visiting Homecoming

The Amazon Prime Video team launched a fan event featuring actors recreating scenes from the show. Snapchat Snapcodes were featured throughout, allowing fans to engage with the AR Lenses.
