20TH CENTURY FOX: SADIE THE EAGLE DOCUMENTARY

In 20th Century FOX’s film Eddie the Eagle, we watch the inspiring true story of an underdog out to prove the world wrong on his journey to the Olympics. It's like Rocky or Rudy, but for ski jumping.

To support the film, we had an idea to do something different - create a documentary about a modern day Eddie. Once we met Sadie, an adorable 11-year-old Shaun White-idolizing snowboarder with Olympic dreams, we knew we had to tell her story.

We visited Sadie and her mom Lee (who became a big part of the story) during the New Hampshire Regional Competition and documented Sadie’s last chance to reach her goal of making Nationals. There may have even been a Rudy-like moment (spoilers). 

We were also excited to be selected to the 2017 Brand Film Festival.
